The venue rental fee is HKD 480. Greenery Music students enjoy a HKD 100 discount (students must register through their respective branches to redeem this offer).

We currently only accept registrations and bookings for the ABRSM Grade 5 Online Music Theory Exam.

Please ensure that all provided information is complete and accurate. Candidates will be held solely responsible for any errors or consequences arising from incorrect submissions.

In accordance with ABRSM regulations, if a candidate rents our venue, Greenery Music will handle the exam registration on their behalf.

In addition to the official exam fee, a HKD 50 administrative fee will be charged. All fees paid are strictly non-refundable.

We cannot provide venue rental services to candidates who have already registered for the exam independently, unless their existing registration is cancelled first.
Scope: The following guidelines apply exclusively to approved invigilation centres (not applicable to private/remote online invigilation).
Before the exam

Candidates must complete the examination within 28 days of their registration date.

A valid photo identification document (ID) must be provided during registration. The following single documents are accepted: a passport, national ID card, driving licence, university student ID, or a completed ABRSM Candidate Identification Form.

If the primary ID does not contain a photograph, a supplementary document with a photo must be provided, such as a school handbook or another form of photo identification.

Candidates are required to register an ABRSM account to take the exam. It is highly recommended that candidates create an account using their ID before registration; alternatively, they may register via the link sent in the ABRSM email after registration is complete.
On exam day

On the day of the exam, please bring the exact physical ID used during registration for identity verification purposes.

Please ensure you reserve sufficient time for the pre-exam setup and preparation steps. To facilitate this, Greenery Music will arrange an additional 30-minute buffer and preparation period.
Starting the exam

Once the technical setup is complete, the system will automatically direct the candidate to the examination page.

A timer in the upper right corner of the screen will display the remaining time; the countdown will officially begin only after entering the actual exam.

Candidates who have requested a translated paper will take the exam in their selected language. The language settings cannot be modified once the exam has commenced.

Upon completing and exiting the examination, candidates are strictly prohibited from taking any used rough paper out of the exam room.

If a candidate remains completely inactive with no input detected for 30 minutes, the exam session will be treated as paused.
Results release

Exam results will be released within four weeks of the exam date, and applicants can view them by logging into their ABRSM account.

Certificates will be dispatched from the UK within four months of the exam date. All results are subject to final review before official publication.

ABRSM will notify applicants via email, providing instructions on how to access their results and digital mark sheets.

Candidates who hold their own ABRSM accounts will receive their results within 7 days after the results have been released to the primary applicant.

Certificates will be sent to the local representative office for distribution, and subsequently forwarded to Greenery Music. The exact delivery timeline is subject to ABRSM's review procedures and postal transit times.
Special notes

In the event that a candidate is unable to sit the exam due to technical difficulties, they must contact ABRSM directly within 7 days of the scheduled exam date.

ABRSM does not adjust exam scores or answers due to a poor technical experience, but they may, at their discretion, consider a refund or offer a free re-sit opportunity.

The booking form is only for non-Greenery students. If you want to enjoy a student discount, please contact the branch where you attend classes.

Please ensure that the information provided in the form is accurate and error-free. The data will be automatically entered into the registration system, and Greenery Music will not be held responsible for any errors.

According to ABRSM regulations, candidates who rent the venue must have their exam registration handled by us. If a candidate has already registered independently, venue rental services cannot be provided unless the existing registration is canceled.

Candidates must ensure they have brought all required documents and that their ABRSM candidate account is accessible. Greenery Music will not provide refunds or rescheduling for exams missed due to personal reasons.

Applicants are required to select the exam language when registering on the ABRSM website. Once selected, the language cannot be changed before or during the exam.

After completing the exam registration on the ABRSM website, please ensure that the "Start Theory Exam" button appears in the candidate's account within a few hours. Otherwise, the exam cannot proceed. Greenery Music will not provide refunds or rescheduling for reserved exam facilities and invigilation services if the exam cannot be taken.

If the candidate is not ready to take the exam, please do not press the "Start Theory Exam" button, as the exam may be considered to have started immediately. Once all procedures are completed, the invigilator (if any) will instruct the candidate to begin the exam.

Multiple candidates may use their assigned exam facilities simultaneously in the exam room.

Please check your email before the exam. ABRSM will notify applicants of any updates via email.

Applicants must familiarize themselves with ABRSM's online theory exam (Grade 5) guidelines to avoid penalties for rule violations.

Compliance with exam rules and requirements is the applicant's personal responsibility. Greenery Music does not accept claims of being misled by others (including invigilators) as a reason to exempt penalties for violations.

Greenery Music will take appropriate measures to ensure network stability during the exam. If computer hardware fails, the invigilator (if any) will assist or contact Greenery Music for help. However, for issues related to ABRSM's designated exam software, please consult ABRSM directly for advice.

ABRSM and Greenery Music are not liable for failures to perform duties due to natural disasters, strikes, epidemics, severe weather, government intervention, unrest, or other unforeseeable and uncontrollable circumstances. All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.

If the Hong Kong Observatory issues typhoon signal No. 8 or above, or a black rainstorm warning within 3 hours before the scheduled appointment, you may cancel and reschedule. If such warnings are cancelled within 3 hours, the appointment will proceed as scheduled.

Candidates must arrive at the scheduled exam venue on time. Late arrivals will not be granted extra time.

If a candidate finishes the exam early, they must contact their parent or guardian to arrange pickup. Greenery Music assumes no responsibility for the candidate's safety once they leave the exam venue.
